Aurora Energy - Customer Case Study

Aurora Energy is a Tasmanian Government–owned integrated energy and telecommunications business serving the state and interstate markets. Their existing 450+ page website was hard-coded with no CMS, a complex single web form for four connection types (over 100 questions), many bespoke .Net tools and custom JavaScript validations, and hosting on internal servers. Revium was engaged to enable a seamless public-facing migration so Aurora staff could manage content and forms internally without disrupting the live site.

Revium rebuilt the site on Kentico CMS using the same design and information architecture, moved hosting to a premium external environment, and introduced a modular form solution that split the large form into four connection-specific bizforms with progress bars, pagination, save‑and‑return, review pages and conditional/validation features. The result gave Aurora full content and form management, a staging environment for testing, improved user experience (easier form completion and contractor workflow), and a stable, portable development approach with an easier upgrade path.
