Assist America, a long‑time client since 1995, is a global provider of emergency medical services for travelers. In 2011 they engaged Weblications to redesign their public website and build a protected client intranet that would centralize travel advisories, integrate third‑party Country Watch data, support department content, documents, news, polling and newsletters, and provide a mobile site plus iPhone and Android apps — all with easy maintenance and secure, role‑based access.
Weblications implemented the Kentico CMS to deliver the new website and intranet, embedding Country Watch advisories, searchable country information, member signup and alert distribution, and intranet features like directories, calendars and document portals. The core site and intranet launched in about four months, the mobile site followed a month later and the apps two months after that, giving Assist America fast, secure content management and reliable, real‑time alerting for travelers.
