Aon, a global leader in risk management and human capital consulting, commissioned a next‑generation global benefits management portal to help multinational clients analyze and manage benefits and compensation data. The project required a highly secure, accurate, and highly available system of record with scalable performance, skin-able UI and complex client-side integration; constraints included an existing static HTML/JS front end, six‑week development cycles with parallel integration, a SOAP back-end and an external database with robust business logic.

BlueModus delivered the solution using jQuery templates, KnockoutJS, AJAX and a WCF‑based REST layer while Kentico managed the templates and IOC‑based mocked services enabled smooth integration with Aon’s SOAP back end. Built by an eight‑person team in about 1,000 hours, the portal became a reusable, customizable platform and effective sales tool—earning strong client and sales feedback, prompting Aon to migrate additional portals and adopt the platform as part of its global strategy, with Kentico accelerating deployment and simplifying back‑end integration.
