A Kentico Case Study
The Anglican Diocese of Auckland needed to modernise its digital presence to honour its heritage while engaging current and next-generation, digital-native audiences. After a 2014 rebrand, the Diocese required a new site to reorganise abundant legacy content, align objectives across many stakeholders, and solve key user pain points—most notably helping newcomers find their closest church and view upcoming regional events.
Union Digital rebuilt the site on Kentico 7 using responsive, CSS-driven templates, a restructured information architecture, Google Maps–powered Find-a-church search, and user-submitted event forms that create moderated calendar entries. The relaunch modernised the brand, improved stakeholder buy-in, and increased engagement by making events and locations easy to find, while providing a secure, fast, cost-effective platform that supports future features like bookings and content personalisation.
