A Kentico Case Study
ALCS is a UK membership organisation that collects secondary royalties and supports writers (paying £32m to almost 70,000 members last year). They needed a way to communicate member benefits, campaigns and timely updates via a mobile app that staff could update themselves — including providing offline access — without requiring agency intervention or forcing users to manually update the app.
Lime built native iOS and Android apps that pull content from ALCS’s Kentico CMS: administrators edit hidden pages with a familiar WYSIWYG interface, export them as a bundled package to a bespoke “content bridge,” preview changes, and publish updates that the app fetches automatically. The solution gave ALCS fast, cost-effective content control, improved member perceptions as a tech-forward organisation, and drove uptake among younger, more digital-savvy members.
