A Kentico Case Study
The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW), Australia’s leading health and welfare statistics agency, commissioned a user-centred website refresh to better present its extensive collection of reports and statistics. Key challenges were organising a large number of report sub-pages into clear categories, fitting the solution into existing business processes, delivering a responsive experience across devices, and meeting WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility requirements.
Zeroseven built the site on Kentico and added custom features — an on-demand multi-document content staging module, extended smart search that surfaced parent report fields, multiselector form controls, event-driven updates, AJAX-enabled report templates, and configurable data-source web parts — to simplify authoring, publishing and discovery. The result was a faster, more flexible site (download speed increased by 150% versus the old CMS), improved content management and navigation, and alignment with AIHW’s staging and accessibility needs.
