The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), a leading trade organization for equipment manufacturers, needed a modern website to better surface its broad range of services. Their legacy home-grown site had an outdated interface, overwhelming “wall of content” layouts, unclear user pathways, heavy content volume, and multiple internal stakeholders and third‑party tools to reconcile.
Lightburn led stakeholder and user interviews, reorganized the information architecture, created wireframes and content strategy, and implemented a Kentico CMS with a custom Kapost integration. The refreshed navigation, color‑coding, and editorial consistency made content easier to find and manage—resulting in a 298% increase in membership information requests, a 417% jump in newsletter signups, an 8% rise in session length, improved CMS workflows and permissions, and more reliable ongoing support.
