Advantage General Insurance, one of Jamaica’s largest general insurers and wholly owned by National Commercial Bank, engaged Discover IT to overhaul its online brand and build Jamaica’s first online “quote and buy” motor insurance service. The project needed a modern, content-manageable site that improved search and engagement, and had complex quoting requirements — including a 4,400‑record vehicle lookup, integration with government vehicle and driver lookup services, fraud screening, a multi‑product rating engine, editable rate tables, payment gateway integration, and automated policy document generation.

Discover IT chose the Kentico CMS Ultimate platform and built a custom, multi‑product quote engine and data tables, plus modules for live eGov Jamaica lookups, Plug’n’Pay payments, automatic PDF policy generation, and a “My Account” area. The result was a maintainable, well‑indexed website that enables immediate online quoting and policy purchase, with strong engagement gains: page views +152.97%, sessions +118.74% and bounce rate down 6.76%, alongside comprehensive reporting and admin controls.
