Family Business Awards, run by The Wilson Organisation, faced an outdated site that made editors frustrated and imposed a strict deadline for a rebuild. To give editors an easy way to add and edit content and to enable rapid, parallel work across teams, the project chose Kentico Kontent (implemented as a headless CMS/Kentico Cloud) so content could be managed via workflows and versioning while development proceeded.
Kentico Kontent was used by agency Distinction to deliver a content-first site built in ASP.NET MVC with a HTML/CSS/JavaScript front end, allowing editors and developers to work concurrently and enabling the site to be built in one week. The relaunch produced strong engagement gains: 207% increase in page views, 45% more sessions, 134% increase in average session duration, 112% more pages per session and a 25% reduction in bounce rate.
