WorkIndia, a Bengaluru-based recruitment marketplace for blue- and gray-collar workers with 704 employees that grew revenue by 250%, faced major HR pain points: core HR on Excel, slow bulk hiring and manual offer-letter generation, no centralized attendance, and delayed payroll. To modernize these processes, WorkIndia chose Keka’s HRMS (including payroll, attendance, offer-letter templates and helpdesk).
Keka implemented department-specific offer-letter templates and bulk release, integrated biometric attendance with the Keka platform, centralized leave and attendance policies, rolled out a six-step payroll module, and introduced the Helpdesk for employee grievances. The result: elimination of Excel workflows, faster onboarding and offer approvals, error-free payroll processing with HR collating data in 2 days and finance verifying in 2 days plus 1 day for disbursement, and improved ticket resolution and reporting — delivering timely, streamlined payroll (e.g., Aug payroll: employee deposit INR 9,54,253; total payroll cost INR 11,71,792).
