Ketto, a Mumbai-based crowdfunding platform with 400+ employees, faced growing HR challenges as it scaled: slow, manual recruitment and onboarding, inaccurate Excel/biometric attendance logs, time-consuming outsourced payroll, delayed expense approvals, and limited performance tracking. Keka implemented an end-to-end solution that centralized hiring, attendance, payroll, expenses and employee support. The new system enabled bulk hiring of 20–30 people per week (helping fill 300+ positions), remote clock-ins with biometric integration, brought payroll in-house (two finance staff now finalize payroll in 2–3 days), introduced approval chains and fraud detection for expenses, and cut daily helpdesk tickets from ~30 to 7—improving candidate and employee experience and driving measurable operational efficiency.
