Hartex Rubber Pvt Ltd, a family-run bicycle tire and tube manufacturer with 650+ employees, was struggling with manual, error-prone HR processes: multi-location attendance capture, 4–6 day payroll cycles, poor visibility on salary advances/loans, disconnected expense claims, and no integrated performance reviews. Hartex engaged Keka to evaluate and implement a cloud HRMS (attendance, payroll, APIs, expense management and Performance Management) that could automate leave-to-payroll flows and integrate with its in-house payments app to eliminate manual intervention.
Keka implemented its cloud HRMS, developed the required APIs to integrate with Hartex’s payments app, and rolled out automated payroll, attendance, expense claims, onboarding and a Performance Management System. The result was 100% accuracy in attendance capture, a 33% reduction in HR work hours on attendance, payroll disbursed automatically end-to-end, a 30% drop in incorrect expense claims, 70% faster reimbursements, 90% reduction in paperwork, a 65% cut in hours spent on performance feedback cycles and a 25% productivity increase — all delivered by Keka within a two-month onboarding.
