Pancreatic Cancer UK, a London-based non-profit focused on improving outcomes for people with pancreatic cancer, struggled with accounts payable during the Covid-19 lockdown as invoice processing and approvals became hard to manage via email, causing lost, missed and miscoded invoices. To address this they selected Kefron and its Kefron AP Accounts Payable Invoice Automation (integrated with Infor SunSystems) as a straightforward solution to digitise and streamline AP workflows.
Kefron implemented Kefron AP to automatically capture, code and route invoices and expenses (suppliers and staff can upload directly), automating roughly 100 invoices per month and removing manual touchpoints. As a result, Pancreatic Cancer UK eliminated miscoding and missing invoices, freed finance resources for higher-value work, and reduced lead invoice processing time by 65% — from an average of 63 days to 22 days — while improving visibility and control.
