Lambeth Council worked with Kefron to tackle a highly labour-intensive invoice processing operation. The finance team was dealing with missing invoices, human error, and poor visibility across a manual process, while also lacking a structured way to scan, track, and match invoices to purchase orders.
Kefron implemented AP automation and an invoice processing system that routed invoices through a single portal, extracted invoice data, automated PO matching, and added a self-service supplier portal. As a result, Lambeth Council achieved 66% touch-free invoice processing, improved communication and visibility, faster approvals, real-time reporting, and a more paperless, efficient AP process.
