Airbus secures 130,000 photo files for 55,000 employees with Keepeek

The customer Airbus, a major aircraft manufacturer, faced the challenge of securely distributing over 130,000 visual assets to 50,000 employees worldwide. Historically decentralized and managed by different countries with varying practices, these multiple databases needed to be unified. Airbus required a simple, user-friendly, and secure Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution, named Photolib+, to centralize these assets for internal use and overcome complex international documentary and security constraints. The vendor Keepeek was selected after a demanding call for tenders to meet these challenges.

Keepeek implemented its Cloud DAM solution, deploying Photolib+ on its premium Cloud platform to ensure high security and performance. The solution involved creating a rigorous, common documentary structure adopted by all divisions, training local contributors, and consolidating media from legacy systems. Decentralized contribution with centralized management allowed for autonomy while guaranteeing high-quality indexing. The results were immediate, with over 30,000 visitors in the first week and thousands of employees worldwide now using the portal daily to access and download assets.
