SFR Optimizes Travel Management Costs with KDS

SFR, a major French telecom operator serving consumer and corporate markets, needed tighter control and optimisation of its business travel and expense spending. With thousands of employees traveling and a company travel policy central to cost control, SFR sought a solution that would enforce policy compliance, simplify booking and approvals, and integrate with existing travel management and accounting systems.

SFR implemented the KDS Corporate SaaS solution for online travel booking and expense claims, later adding the KDS Expense module. The unified system integrated with HR, TMC and finance systems, rolled out quickly (three months for expenses) with no training, and reached 95% adoption across 7,000 users. Within six months adoption hit 60% and SFR achieved a 10% reduction in travel costs and a 50% reduction in transactional expenses in year one, while gaining better reporting, supplier negotiation leverage and carbon‑emissions tracking.
