EF Education First Adopts KDS Neo for its Global Mobile Workforce

EF Education First, a global education company with more than 40,000 staff across 500 schools and offices in 50+ countries, faced fragmented travel and expense processes that prevented consistent policy enforcement and a unified booking experience—Amadeus was used in the US and Europe but no self‑booking tool existed in Asia. Travel Manager Johanna Wigg led a search for a configurable global solution that would support mobile users, streamline approvals and link seamlessly with the expense system.

EF selected KDS Neo (branded internally as EFly) for its Door‑to‑Door booking, mobile accessibility and GDS synchronization. The solution was rolled out across Europe, the US, Asia and Canada, increasing online booking adoption, reducing agency interaction and costs, improving approval workflows and delivering significant time and efficiency savings. User feedback has been very positive, reinforcing EF’s innovative image, and plans include adding an automated expense module to further streamline the process.
