Amcor Achieves Travel & Expense Control by Deploying KDS

Amcor, the world’s largest packaging company with more than $9.5 billion in annual sales and 33,000 employees (12,000 in its Flexibles division), faced a fragmented travel program and an estimated EUR 30 million annual travel bill with little visibility or control. Multiple local travel agencies and an offline-only booking process made it impossible to track traveler behavior, enforce policy or target meaningful cost reductions, so Amcor required a mobile-compatible, end-to-end travel and expense solution that tied bookings to expenses.

Following an RFP, Amcor chose KDS and ran a 12-week pilot with a cross-functional project team and 50 user testers to configure and refine the system ahead of a global rollout. The KDS deployment delivered seamless travel-to-expense integration, mobile access and built-in reporting dashboards that enable forecasting, policy optimization and real-time manager oversight — giving Amcor the visibility and control needed to reduce T&E spend and drive ongoing cost improvements.
