KBC A Yokogawa Company carried out a design review study using LP and simulation modeling, weekly stakeholder communication, and a one-team approach with the client, licensors, and PMC to identify and evaluate improvement opportunities. The work optimized the product slate, crude selection, stream routing, energy use, turnaround planning, and power system design, delivering identified savings and improvement opportunities worth about USD 200 million per year and reducing capex by USD 200 million per year.
