KBC A Yokogawa Company implemented connected data sources, model-based balancing and calculations, and Petro-SIM-based Process Performance trackers and unit health monitoring. The refinery now has one version of the truth across its network, more consistent and reliable data, and engineers use the models as a primary source for monthly reporting. The rollout took about 15 years, and the company continues to improve data quality while preparing to extend the trackers across all sites and major units.
