A Kaz Software Case Study

Preview of the Oxfam Bangladesh Case Study

Oxfam Bangladesh maps 50,000+ community voices with Kaz Software

Oxfam Bangladesh needed a digital platform to make the invisible impacts of climate change visible for advocacy and action. Their challenge was to capture and visualize real-time loss and damage data from over 100 remote, often offline, regions, requiring a solution that blended GIS accuracy with mobile integration. They partnered with Kaz Software to build a web-based geospatial documentation system.

Kaz Software built an open-source geospatial platform that integrated mobile data collection tools like KoboToolbox and SurveyCTO for real-time uploads from the field. The solution transformed over 50,000 community data points into interactive maps and dashboards, enabling Oxfam to spot patterns, track changes, and generate data-backed recommendations. This gave the organization unprecedented visibility for climate action and amplified marginalized community voices for policy advocacy.
