Kaz Software partnered with Dairy Applications, a dairy farm technology startup, to address the challenge of building an IoT-enabled platform for automating and optimizing feeding. The system needed to facilitate communication between farm equipment, mobile devices, and the cloud, handle offline scenarios with data syncing, and be developed under tight startup constraints without direct access to all hardware during the initial phases.

Kaz Software developed a solution using a Raspberry Pi and Node.js proxy to simulate IoT devices for testing, alongside a server platform built with ASP.NET MVC and native Android and iOS apps for field use. This approach reduced technical risk, accelerated development, and helped cut feed costs by up to 7% for farmers, ultimately delivering more milk at less cost.
