Sylmasta is a UK-based manufacturer of adhesive repair products that was running a bespoke Microsoft Access system alongside QuickBooks Desktop, which left them with poor stock visibility and clunky, manual processes as they grew. Seeking a cloud-based manufacturing ERP, they trialed and then adopted Katana’s manufacturing software (including the Shop Floor App and native integrations) to replace their legacy setup.

Katana was implemented with native integrations to QuickBooks Online and WooCommerce, plus batch tracking and Shiptheory for shipping, giving live shop-floor updates and end-to-end syncing. The result was faster, more accurate order fulfilment, less shop-floor admin, clearer production visibility, and the ability to take much larger orders without extra management — Simon Bedding reports revenue has increased since switching to Katana.
