Wellcraft Construction Company, a Philadelphia-based general contractor, faced recurring vandalism, theft, trespassing and the risk of pranksters on active job sites, and found traditional security guards to be inconsistent and costly. To address these challenges they turned to Kastle Systems and its MobileSentry solution for a more reliable, lower-cost approach to site security.

Kastle Systems deployed six smart cameras, an audio deterrent and 4G-backed monitoring tied to Kastle’s US-based Operations Center, with cloud video storage and live viewing via app. The system created a virtual perimeter that deterred crane climbers and other intruders, cut monthly security costs by about 50% compared with guards, and saved Wellcraft $63,000 over the 18-month project.
