Case Study: Volkswagen Group Retail Spain achieves improved employee cybersecurity awareness with Kaspersky Lab's Automated Security Awareness

A Kaspersky Lab Case Study

Preview of the Volkswagen Group Retail Spain Case Study

Volkswagen Group Retail Spain relies on Kaspersky Automated Security Awareness to train its staff on cybersecurity

Volkswagen Group Retail Spain faced the challenge of protecting its people and systems across 53 sites and over 1,700 employees, recognizing that technical controls alone weren’t enough and that user behaviour was the main risk. To address this, Volkswagen Group Retail Spain selected Kaspersky Lab’s Kaspersky Automated Security Awareness platform to build a Cybersecurity User Awareness programme that complements its perimeter and monitoring measures.

Kaspersky Lab implemented its Automated Security Awareness solution — short, research-based lessons delivered at intervals and rolled out in phases (IT, managers/headquarters, then frontline teams) — to embed secure behaviours. The programme helped VGRS evaluate user risks and measurably increase employees’ ability to recognise, avoid and report threats, while meeting content and management expectations across the group’s 1,700+ staff and 53 facilities.
