SSD Technology Partners is a Delaware- and Pennsylvania-based IT managed service provider (48 employees, >90% client retention) that needed reliable endpoint protection to keep its customers “working, uninterrupted.” After problems with their incumbent supplier, SSD evaluated and chose Kaspersky Lab’s Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business to meet the demands of its diverse healthcare, education, financial and nonprofit customer base.

Kaspersky Lab worked with SSD to deploy an initial 1,500 licenses, integrate the solution into SSD’s management console, and later support a full migration—SSD now uses in excess of 3,000 Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business licenses. The switch delivered immediate, measurable improvements in virus detection and protection rates, allowed SSD to retire its prior solution, and made Kaspersky Lab’s technology the default in the majority of SSD’s managed service deployments while providing ongoing technical support and a roadmap for adding encryption.
