Security Awareness at Stedin reduces number of cyber incidents

Stedin Group, a Rotterdam-based energy network operator serving more than two million customers with some 5,000 employees, faced the challenge of protecting critical infrastructure in a highly complex, high-risk region. The company needed an effective, attractive and interactive security-awareness program that was easy to manage and update across the organisation, and chose Kaspersky Lab’s Kaspersky Security Awareness solution to meet those needs.

Kaspersky Lab deployed the complete Kaspersky Security Awareness program—e‑learning modules, a game for middle management, the Kaspersky Interactive Protection Simulation for senior leaders, a cyber culture assessment and a cloud-based management and reporting console—rolled out across Stedin’s workforce. The solution improved employee awareness and behaviour, gave managers clear, measurable visibility at employee, departmental and company levels, and helped reduce the number of cyber incidents affecting Stedin.
