Cypad provides web-based management information systems (Cypad Kitchen Manager® and Cypad Monitor) for caterers and local education authorities, used at more than 3,000 UK sites to manage meal production, ordering, staffing and reporting. Kaspersky Lab implemented a layered security solution with mobile device management, remote locate/wipe capability and robust malware protection across Cypad’s tablets and apps. The deployment stopped any virus or malware issues from impacting operations (Cypad reports not having had a single virus-caused problem since adoption), enabled secure remote wiping of lost devices, and gave Cypad and its customers the confidence to scale CKM across 3,000+ sites while meeting data-protection requirements.
