Protection At Muller’s Hausmacher Wurst

Müller’s Hausmacher Wurst GmbH & Co. KG, a German producer of premium meat and sausage products with 90 employees that processes around 50 tons daily, had become highly digitalized with internet-based ordering and automated logistics—making cybersecurity and IT availability critical. The IT team was unhappy with their old security solution because its administration console was not user-friendly and required accessing each PC individually. While evaluating options during a license renewal they discovered Kaspersky Lab and its Kaspersky Security Center / Endpoint Security management capabilities.

Kaspersky Lab, via partner Infraforce GmbH, implemented Kaspersky Security for Business Select across 60 workstations and the company’s six Windows/file servers and deployed Kaspersky DDoS Protection to keep online services available. Using Kaspersky Security Center the team can centrally manage protection and define software versions without touching each endpoint, and Kaspersky DDoS Protection routes and cleans traffic through the cloud to prevent service outages. The result: 60 clients and 6 servers now protected, easier administration, cost-effective security and continued availability of internet-based business processes.
