Cimubisa, the Bilbao City Council Municipal Computer Center that manages IT services for the council and most municipal enterprises, needed to secure extensive online services and citizen data against current and future threats. To protect services used by more than 350,000 residents and the council’s workforce, Cimubisa selected Kaspersky Lab, deploying Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business Advanced to cover desktops, servers and mobile devices.

Kaspersky Lab implemented a next‑generation endpoint protection platform with centralized management, Mobile Device Management capabilities and policy automation, giving Cimubisa greater visibility and control without performance degradation. The deployment covers 2,850 licenses and protects services used by some 350,000 citizens and 2,500 civil servants, delivering improved threat detection, remote antitheft/MDM functions and minimal impact on system performance.
