Krombacher Selects New It Security System

Krombacher Brauerei, a long-established German brewery with around 850 employees, needed to replace its legacy security stack with a centrally managed, multi‑layer protection that would work across Windows, SAP, VMware and IBM Notes and also cover field staff. To meet that challenge the company selected Kaspersky Lab, deploying Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business Select together with Kaspersky Lab Security for Mail Server.

Kaspersky Lab’s solution was installed in March 2014 (with partner save IT first GbR assisting) and rolled out in four weeks; administrators were trained in just 2.5 days. Kaspersky Lab now protects 1,500 network nodes and some 40 TB of data, securing 850 users against viruses, spam and other malware, delivering a higher malware‑detection rate, easy client/server integration and centrally managed, adaptable security.
