BRAC is a large development organisation headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with about 120,000 employees and extensive microfinance operations across multiple countries. Facing frequent virus infections—especially from removable media—that crashed systems, damaged drives and forced costly reformatting at central IT in Dhaka, BRAC needed an IT security partner able to protect dispersed field staff and support manual installations in remote offices. Kaspersky Lab, working with regional partner Officextracts, deployed and configured Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business with application, device and web control, mobile security and device management, plus hands‑on training and ongoing support. After more than a year the solution now protects some 2,500 users across nine countries, significantly reduced local infections (especially from USB/CD use), cut resource‑intensive repairs and downtime, and made remote operations smoother—delivering measurable cost savings and higher productivity for BRAC’s field teams.
