Hankook Tire, a global tyre manufacturer founded in 1941 with about 21,000 employees and offices in 31 countries, faced growing malware and virus threats—especially in South Korea where spam and targeted attacks are common—and found its existing anti‑virus inadequate for a mobile, always‑connected workforce. To strengthen its defenses, Hankook Tire selected Kaspersky Lab and deployed Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business to protect corporate and remote endpoints, servers and mobile devices.
Kaspersky Lab implemented a multi‑layered, centrally managed security platform combining advanced anti‑malware, web/device/application controls and mobile protection, backed by quarterly technical inspections and expert support. The solution gave Hankook Tire improved visibility and control across its global operations, helping to protect roughly 21,000 employees and preventing malware from spreading between regions, while simplifying administration via Kaspersky Lab’s central management console.
