Extensive Testing Indicates A Single Solution

The University of Twente, a Dutch institution with about 10,000 students, 3,300 staff and roughly 100 student businesses, needed a more reliable, less intrusive endpoint security solution after its existing anti-virus proved slow, unreliable and hard to manage. Following a six-month assessment by its ICT service center (ICTS) that tested multiple products, the University selected Kaspersky Lab’s Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business to meet its performance and management requirements.

Kaspersky Lab provided a day of briefing and ongoing support while the University implemented the solution itself; Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business is now deployed on at least 5,000 standard workstations. The vendor’s product delivered faster, more accurate scanning, a smaller footprint that reduces user disruption, and more efficient, stable management and monitoring—resulting in improved workstation performance and campus-wide protection of 5,000 endpoints.
