A Kaspersky Lab Case Study
The Kenyan National Assembly, responsible for 349 National Assembly members out of 416 MPs and working toward e‑government under Vision 2030, faced widespread IT vulnerability across many remote government sites and relied on slow, manual checks to keep systems secure. To address this, the Assembly procured a managed IT security solution from Kaspersky Lab, deploying Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business to protect desktops, laptops, servers and mobile endpoints.
Kaspersky Lab (with local partner Cliff Business Solutions) implemented a multi‑layered, centrally managed security platform — including advanced anti‑malware, automatic updates, and web, device and application controls — rolled out countrywide over more than ten years. The solution now protects the work of 416 MPs and national assets, delivers faster threat identification and response, simplifies updates and reporting for accountability, and scales with the Assembly’s expansion while reducing the risk of breaches and data loss.
