Comprehensive IT Security For Rafi

RAFI GmbH & Co. KG, a global manufacturer and distributor founded in 1900 with about 2,000 employees, faced a complex IT security challenge: mirrored data centres, roughly 2,000 client workstations, some 500 physical and virtual servers holding around 400TB, and a mix of Windows, Linux, SAP and bespoke production software that needed specially programmed protection. To meet its requirements for high malware detection, centralised administration and a fast, coordinated switchover across multiple countries on an ambitious schedule, RAFI selected Kaspersky Lab and Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business.

Kaspersky Lab implemented the Kaspersky Lab Security Center, packaged and deployed Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business across test and production systems within the same month, and tuned policies and trusted-application exceptions to accommodate RAFI’s specific software. The rollout met project targets without issues, with IT admins up to speed in about a week; today Kaspersky Lab protects around 2,000 clients and 500 servers (about 400TB of data), delivering centralised control, high malware detection and scalable, reliable protection that simplifies day-to-day management.
