A Kaspersky Lab Case Study
Adrea, a French mutual insurance company with 1,100 employee workstations across 130 sites (and about 200 servers) created by the merger of eight firms, faced fragmented endpoint protection and disruptive “false positives.” To unify security and simplify management, Adrea chose Kaspersky Lab’s single-platform solution—deploying Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business and later Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mobile—beginning in December 2010.
Kaspersky Lab delivered a centrally managed workstation security platform (initially piloted with partner Aixagon and then rolled out site-by-site with skills transfer), enabling Adrea’s IT team to secure all workstations and servers from a single console. The result was simplified, centralized management across 130 sites, dramatically improved malware detection with no reported “false positives” for three years, protection of deployed machines during a Conficker outbreak (preventing infections on Kaspersky-protected endpoints), and added mobile device management under Kaspersky Lab.
