A systematic approach to security becomes a blockchain company standard

Bitexen, a Turkey‑headquartered fintech founded in 2018 that offers multi‑platform crypto trading (web, iOS/Android and API), needed to harden its applications and infrastructure against vulnerabilities, misconfiguration and weak authentication as it scaled. To protect customer assets and maintain trust in a crowded market, Bitexen engaged Kaspersky Lab to conduct a Kaspersky Application Security Assessment and penetration testing across its web, mobile and network components.

Kaspersky Lab performed emulated external and authenticated attacker tests, identified issues including cross‑site scripting and HTTPS misconfiguration, and recommended stronger password policies and two‑factor authentication. Bitexen remediated the findings, passed the Kaspersky Application Security Assessment, adopted regular third‑party security assessments as a company standard, and strengthened its overall platform resilience and customer trust by eliminating the identified vulnerabilities.
