A Kaseya Case Study
Methodist Healthcare Ministries (MHM) is a San Antonio–based nonprofit that delivers medical, dental and counseling services to uninsured and low-income residents across 74 South Texas counties. Rapid growth, a largely rural workforce, and a lean IT team (seven staff) left MHM struggling with unscalable, travel-heavy support processes, insecure passwords, hundreds of remote endpoints and stringent HIPAA/HITECH compliance requirements.
MHM implemented VSA by Kaseya and AuthAnvil to provide centralized RMM, Live Connect remote support, patching, auditing, reporting and two-factor authentication. The result: a 92% patch rate within a week of releases, remote repairs in 5–10 minutes that cut technician travel and saved 20–30 minutes per call, clinic productivity gains of roughly 45–55% and overall throughput increases up to about 75%, enabling secure, compliant growth with lower IT cost and staffing.
