Advanced Motion Controls (AMC), a manufacturer of servo drives, was struggling with a sprawling, home-built workstation environment that required constant hands-on maintenance. A previous deployment of Symantec Altiris proved overly complex, resource-intensive and costly, degrading application performance, encouraging users to remove the client, and leaving the IT team unable to enforce consistent security and configuration across the network.

AMC replaced Altiris with Kaseya’s web-based IT management platform and completed deployment to 27 servers and 298 workstations in under three days. The centralized console restored administrative control, automated patching, backups and software delivery, provided a controlled self-service catalog for engineers, cut operational costs and man-hours, and improved system reliability and end-user productivity—helping speed product development and delivery.
