Kaseya Helps City Year Reach More Students at Risk of Not Graduating

City Year is a national nonprofit that places young corps members in high-need schools to help keep at-risk students on track to graduation. With 21 regional offices, over 1,000 distributed systems and hundreds of users logging in from schools, City Year’s small IT team faced a reactive, manual support model—relying on costly shipping for repairs, enduring long downtime, and lacking visibility or capacity to scale without adding headcount.

By deploying the Kaseya IT Automation Framework, three administrators gained a single web-based console for remote monitoring, automated remediation and rapid provisioning. The change cut shipping costs by half, saved about $45,000 in staffing costs, sped onboarding from days to hours, and resolved many issues proactively—improving uptime and productivity and enabling organizational growth without increasing IT spend.
