Vast Visibility Achieves Online Traffic Integrity with Kasada

Vast Visibility, a UK InsureTech that runs high-converting online comparison platforms (including The Bike Insurer) and writes over £160m in annual premium income for partners, was being overwhelmed by malicious automation: automated quotes and high-velocity scrapers were consuming compute, leaking powerful IP, disrupting A/B testing and user funnels, and driving up mitigation costs—while legacy, intrusive defenses hurt the customer experience. To address this, Vast Visibility selected Kasada and its Online Traffic Integrity solution.

Kasada deployed a non‑invasive, set‑and‑forget reverse‑proxy solution using dynamic cryptographic challenges (with typical time‑to‑value measured in minutes) that exhausted bot CPU resources and preserved genuine user throughput. The result for Vast Visibility: automated quotes fell from 5–10% of activity to just 1% whitelisted traffic, false positives dropped to zero, TCO fell from a full‑time equivalent to about one hour per week via Kasada’s managed service, page‑load times and conversion rates improved, scrapers were blocked on first request (or routed to commercial contact pages), and server/compute capacity was preserved.
