Delta International Services, Inc. is a heavy-duty industry business with locations in Fairbanks and Delta Junction, Alaska. Since 2012, the customer has used Karmak’s Fusion dealer management system, and the main challenge was overcoming employee resistance to change and varying levels of technology comfort when moving from the older Karmak Legend system to a Windows-based platform.

Karmak implemented Fusion, whose user-friendly interface helped make the transition successful across a workforce ranging from ages 20 to 60. The result was strong employee adoption, including one technology-resistant employee who would not use a smartphone but was able to use Fusion successfully. Delta International attributed its success with the system to its ease of use, though no specific financial or operational metrics were provided.
