Helix eSports, a state-of-the-art esports center, faced a challenge in collecting and displaying live performance data for their two gaming teams competing in various tournaments. They needed a real-time leaderboard to show player usernames, scores, locations, and rewards on-screen at their centers by incorporating data from multiple different games. Kanda Software was engaged to provide a technical solution for this data representation challenge.

Kanda Software developed a Windows service installed on each gaming PC to collect and extract player performance data, which was then sent to an AWS cloud environment for processing. The solution delivered a real-time leaderboard on the Helix eSports website. This transformed their operations by providing a dynamic and engaging experience for their audience, streamlining data collection, and allowing for the storage of historical gaming results.
