Rossi SpA, an Italian global leader in gearmotors and electric motors, faced challenges with its inflexible manual kanban system. The system lacked an overall view, could not collect statistics, and required external consultants for every change. To streamline their material flow management, Rossi SpA chose to implement the e-kanban system KanbanBOX from vendor KanbanBOX.

The solution involved integrating KanbanBOX with their Oracle ERP and sequencer to manage material replenishment from the warehouse to production, from external suppliers, and between different plants. This provided Rossi SpA with a real-time overview of stock and production activities. The results included a decrease in warehouse stock, resulting in savings on occupied space and locked-up assets, and the new ability to autonomously manage corporate changes and system imports.
