Cadel, part of the MCZ Group, is an Italian manufacturer and distributor of wood-burning kitchens and stoves with a highly integrated production system spread across three plants. The company needed a better way to manage material flow across its supply chain, replacing the burden of manual kanban cards and reducing stock-outs, reminders, and line stoppages.

Using KanbanBOX, Cadel extended electronic kanban management from internal production to external suppliers and the full supply chain, managing more than 2,200 internal components and over 800 purchased items with 50+ suppliers. KanbanBOX cut kanban setup time from about 20 minutes to under 2 minutes, reduced class A component stock by up to 50% in some cases, and helped lower line stops by 25% in just a few months, while also simplifying maintenance and supplier coordination.
