Emergency Communications Network - Customer Case Study

Emergency Communications Network (ECN) provides mass‑notification services for governments and businesses, where immediate, fault‑tolerant communication is critical. Facing rapid growth and aging storage that was nearing end of maintenance, ECN needed higher performance, predictable latency and simpler operations to ensure reliable delivery at peak demand.

ECN installed two Kaminario K2 all‑flash arrays in each of its three data centers (22 TB usable with capacity‑on‑demand billing for 15 TB and 7 TB on standby). The deployment delivered major gains in speed, functionality and operational simplicity—enabling snapshots for dev/test, deduplication, encryption and non‑disruptive scale‑up/scale‑out—positioning ECN to reliably serve more customers at peak loads.
