BridgePay is a transaction gateway company that provides turnkey payment application solutions for card-present, mobile and e-commerce environments. Faced with increasing transaction lengths, strict PCI/security requirements and a complex multi-device database environment, their aging 15K RPM storage couldn’t deliver the consistent, millisecond-level performance and simple management the business required.

BridgePay deployed a Kaminario K2 all‑flash array in production, gaining sustained high performance, adaptive variable-block processing and simpler management. Latency dropped from about 7 ms to under 0.4 ms, removing database choke points and enabling more concurrent threads; built‑in compression/encryption and responsive support rounded out the benefits. BridgePay is expanding Kaminario capacity and adding a second system for DR.
