Canal Panda (produced by Dreamia) is a long-standing kids’ TV brand in Iberia that wanted to expand from linear broadcasting into a direct‑to‑consumer streaming service—Panda+—to give children safe, on‑demand access to familiar shows. The challenge was to design a kid‑friendly, parent‑safe app and bring it to market in a very short timeframe.

Kaltura delivered an end‑to‑end solution—from content ingest and media prep to syndication—featuring a colorful, avatar‑driven UI, intuitive discovery, parental controls, and hybrid monetization (subscriptions + ads). The service launched in four months, is available on Smart TVs, web and mobile, and has achieved 80,000+ downloads, ~3,000 daily (20,000 weekly) active users and about 40 minutes average engagement.
