Redefining Customer Sales and Service e-Learning for JYSK

In 2017 JYSK partnered with Kallidus to overhaul its Mobile Retail Curriculum—18 modules redesigned with smartphones as the primary device—because the retailer’s built‑in e‑learning was basic and disengaging. The brief was clear: each module needed a defined learning goal, to be fun, interactive and challenging, use gamification and realistic scenarios, be fully localisable, and work across PC, tablet and (especially) mobile to better prepare employees for customer‑facing roles.

Kallidus delivered mobile‑first, gamified content with realistic branching scenarios, interactive characters and 3D assets—five interactive scenarios, 10 3D characters, localised into 17 languages—now used by 7,000+ global learners across PC, mobile and tablet. Kallidus also implemented an LMS update so learners can review completed modules without losing completion status; stakeholders praised the result as a significant improvement in engagement and learning quality.
